First – ish?
Keep these coming. Great episode.
– now im a romantic. who knew.
– tommy.
It's a great series, because everywhere I visit, I like to find these little secret mountain ranges… Every country has them… In the french Alps, there are a few like the Devoluy or Bauges, in Norway you got the Sju Søstre or the alpine range on Senja island… They're not secret secret, local people know them quite well. But they're not worthy of a paragraph in a Lonely Planet book or anything… Usually they're just mentionned briefly, if at all.
"Thanks Alex"
"Uh-huh. You can thank the rural artisans in the state of Nevada."
The romantic gesture is there, but the execution needs some work lol
My ankles got cold just watching them slog through the snow without gaiters.
"This is the most adult arts and crafts thing I've ever seen" 😂😂
I thought Alex was vegetarian?
Planning to do the Ruby Crest Trail in a day outside of summer and then being surprised by snow was quite the choice, but honestly it didn't go so badly. Watching this, I think sometimes I have the tendency to overprepare. I probably worry about conditions more than I need to.
Alex, it's a pleasure to watch you climb and compete, but thank you for creating these videos. It's awesome to watch and motivates us all just to get out there.
Love hiking the Rubies then eating at a Basque restaurant in Elko. The perfect day. All the stuffed animals at the museum there is wild crazy too.
you just lost me with that comment over spending $300 on your Wife and Mother of your Children, your kind of clueless!good luck with that.
The HonnoVan is on the road! Love to see it!!! Sanni is going to be excited by Alex’s gesture of love!
"I dunno, some horses just like to look pretty, I guess."
omg, you're jogging.. haha I would have done a fast paced walk myself, but he was with an endurance runner
Never though I'd actually start considering moving to Nevada. Didn't expect it have snowy mountains at all. Thanks for the series, Alex!
Very humbling video. Wishing for the best and glad Alex is outside of his comfort zone to film!
I have loved this series. So many cool people in this one. Elko seems like a really cool little town. Payton is a pretty inspriing athlete and maniac if you're familiar with that style of running. And the little jewelry for Sanni subplot was a nice thread through the series. Alex is, somewhat surprisingly to me, the absolute perfect host for something like this. I really, really hope there's more. Can't have even really scratched the surface of everything Nevada has going on.
He’s literally so funny, without even trying. I love that
I wish I could stop overthinking and have peace like this dude.
Fantastic!❤
The blacks have Oakland, Detroit and Chicago. Let them stay there. Nobody wants the wilderness to become their next Carnival Cruise.
Loving this series ay
He is so handsome! Not because of looks but because of his intelligence, his soft spoken voice and his love for a sport that he gave everything towards. Best of the best! His wife is a lucky lady! They are really cute together! ❤ I am his exact age and when I was younger, my idea of attractive was very different. HE is what I define as a total catch now. Ladies, don’t go for the model bad boy, go for the Alex type!
Shame he is getting little attention unless he free solos. Dudes interesting as hell.
Good choice on the pendant. 🤙✌
Really. Why would you frame the whole episode with a 37 mile 9000 foot run if it has nothing to do with it. Sucked
Yes, Peyton got Alex out trail running! Love it.
I absolutely loved this series!
Knowing when to turn around in the mountains is an important skill and sometimes hard to exercise with external pressures (esp. cameras). Impressed by the good call this trip!
This is such a great series! Can you do this same type of series for other states, too? That would be really cool.
