If your golf swing feels inconsistent…
one day you strike it pure, the next you don’t…

It’s not because you need a complicated swing change.

In this video, PGA Professional Stuart Cartwright from Good Golf Coaching shows you 3 simple moves — one in the backswing, impact, and follow-through — that can completely transform your ball striking with wedges, irons, and driver.

These are the same cause-and-effect movements used by elite players to:

Strike the ball cleaner
Improve consistency
Generate effortless power
Control your low point

Get these three right… and your entire swing starts to fall into place.

  1. These three points summarize much of your library of content quite well – amazing. Helps me to pinpoint what I still struggle with.

Back swing is solid – I hit all these points. I am trying to understand the foot action from the top of the backswing to the downswing – as you say opposing the club, getting from ball to the heels.

In the back-swing the pressure is on the inside trail foot, but more in the heel because of the rotation & rearward spine tilt. Prior to really pushing off with the lead foot, I am having a hard time trying to sort out the action/feeling of getting back into the balls of both feet so that I can oppose the downswing forces, get low and keep handle pressure while shifting to the heel.

Any hints are appreciated, but otherwise keep up the good work.

  2. Excellent summary – I've gone from new starter to 11 handicap in 12 months with Stuarts help…. clearest and best tuition on Youtube 👍It just works.

  4. Wow how lucky is everyone getting this instruction for free. Some of us have paid for this very same information. Outstanding instruction Stuart.
