Tiger Woods was seen in body camera footage released Thursday by the Martin County (Florida) Sheriff’s office talking on the phone as he was approached by police in the wake of a rollover crash that led to his arrest last week.

After he got off the phone, he told an officer he was “just talking to the president.”

Woods was arrested on suspicion of DUI after crawling out of his rolled-over vehicle following a two-vehicle crash on Jupiter Island just after 2 p.m. ET on March 27. It was not explicitly clear if Woods had just gotten off the phone with President Donald Trump, but Trump did send well wishes in the hours following Woods’ accident.

  5. “I was just talking to the president”. Dude is Tiger Woods. Probably one of the most well known people in America. For the cops to do their job is outstanding. Also, he must have been loaded. They’re not bringing Tiger Woods in on a borderline case. Cops are human. Tiger Woods is Tiger Woods, want to help him all you can. Tiger, help me help you. Geeze, messed this up Tiger. Love Tiger Woods though, but impressed the Cops were duty above all. I really like good Cops. They are the unsung Tiger Woods.

  17. Never consent to a field sobriety test kids. Sober or not. That test will never support your innocence. It's only used to collect evidence to prove your guilt or support the officers decision you're under the influence. They need to outlaw those Damm tests but until they do never consent. If they want to bring you to jail let them just don't consent to the tests

  21. The vicodin in his pocket sure didn't help him. Had he not had those he for sure would win the case. Also, man, get a driver!!! I'll do it for $100k/year, I'll sign an NDA and let me post up in the pool house. I have a conceal carry permit so I can be security as well. Definitely needs to re-evaluate things but addiction is real, he can afford to have a driver, no excuse.

  22. She has a 4-year-old voice. Shame on this department for hiring her. Shame on the police academy for not making her drop the affectation and speak like an adult. Shame on her parents for not telling her speak like an adult once you're beyond 10 years old. If they chose her on purpose because of his past, his lawyers are going to have a field day with this. If you want to have an affectation of a 4-year-old girl, that's fine, but don't be in a public position where you speak, especially Not law enforcement where someone's life may depend on it. This is a choice how she's speaking. It is not a natural speaking voice. No one speaks like a 4-year-old girl as an adult. My wife doesn't speak that way. My daughter doesn't speak that way. The many women that I have worked with and several that I have worked for never spoke this way in corporate America or in the Marine Corps. Shame on everyone that allowed her to become an adult and then become a law enforcement officer without correcting this speech affectation that she is choosing to use. It's embarrassing.
