I’m ~16hcp and hit the ball pretty fairly straight. this jump I do in my downswing causes random slices and me to consistently hit the ball way too high or thin it sometimes. any advice for any of my swing helps

Your right arm isn’t reconnecting to your body when you start the downswing. Pause the video right after you make contact and you’ll see the gap. You’re jumping up to create space for the club and your arms. If you didn’t jump you’d hit the ground before the ball. 99% of people compensate for it by standing up and then come over the top with a steep angle but you’ve figured out a way to keep the club on plane. Hats off to you

In your downswing shift your weight to your lead heel. As a drill try to lift your lead toe instead of shifting your weight forward towards the ball.
