STANFORD – Sophomore Nolan Kuszyk carded the Cal Poly men’s golf program’s low round during Saturday’s final 18 holes of Stanford’s The Goodwin while freshman Rafael Bobo-Lloret was the top overall finisher for the Mustangs. 

At the par-70, 6,742-yard Stanford Golf Course, Bobo-Lloret completed play with a five-over 75 to cap a nine-over 219 (72-72-75) and 97th-place finish in the 160-player field. 

Sophomore Nolan Kuszyk, meanwhile, closed with a three-over 73 Saturday that included three birdies. He finished 107th overall with a 10-over 220 (72-75-73). 

Graduate student Kyle Dougherty matched his lowest round with a four-over 74 Saturday and three birdies. Dougherty improved five spots to 127th with a 14-over 224 (74-76-74). Junior Jack Jarvis, meanwhile, was two shots behind Dougherty with a 16-over 226 (74-75-77).

As a program, Cal Poly was 29th overall. 

Cal Poly continues action at Ohio State’s Robert Kepler Invitational, set for April 11-12 at the Columbus Country Club.
