I Played San Dimas Canyon From the Tips | The Muni Series Ep 5
Today we continued our mission to find the best public golf course in Los Angeles county, at San Dimas canyon GC! Check out the full video to see where this course falls on our official course ranking list! and don’t forget about our hotdog rankings list!
Was over at Los Feliz the other day and folks were talking about this series. Congrats
I see that Feruga shaft you got in your driver. Are you on Whatnot by any chance? Thats where I usually see them since i dont see them for sale often or even promoted anywhere.
really great content showing the bad and the good. Love it and keep the videos coming !
Also 18 is not a short par 4 at 392, you made it even longer using an iron and there isnt that much trouble left to right lol
Great series, love seeing the munis featured
I love seeing all the courses I normally play as a beginner. Hopefully we can play a round in the future when I get better haha. This series is awesome
This is one of the best courses in the area for the price and views. Its really hard to beat. Great video and I will continue to watch your journey.
Great series. Thousands of golfers can relate. #6, pound driver around/over those trees on the right. In fact, being able to hit a big high push cut driver comes in handy on LA County. San Dimas can be had, but need to score in all the par gives, #17 can be a handful late in the round and late in the day when you’re getting tired. The course is mentally taxing.. angles, elevation, and green reading. Stay in the area and play Marshall Canyon. Then seep over the county line.. you’ll be happy to play out there
Hey this is a good channel keep it up. Definitely got the same courses in rotation lol, you got a new sub.
play sierra lakes 🙏
This is my favorite course in the LA area that I have played.
Enjoyed the video. Course looked really nice. I liked how you considered the mountain when reading your putts.
I'm enjoying this series. Look forward to the next one
They had a kitchen fire. That's why they re-did the clubhouse.
Just played here for the first time recently. Great course with an interesting layout. I didn’t care for the small range they have available.
love this course! only thing (if anything is that the par 5s are mostly "layups" and are pretty risky if you wanted to get there in 2. that just means i just gotta be better. lol
series just keeps getting better and better
I don't know what it is with that course, but NO ONE rakes the bunkers out there.
Love the series
What a great course and concept you have Jesse! I look forward to these videos! Keep up the great work!
Iron off the tee on 1 smh, you could get it close to the green for easy up and down! Its a great course, play there most Saturdays. greens are always good
Bro playing the red ball needs to put down a marker more often.
new to your channel my man and i really like the no-nonsense approach.
travis my goat
Could I have seen you recently running through Central Park in NYC? I enjoy your videos!
If you want to see lots of wildlife play Marshall Canyon just a couple of miles east of San Dimas along the 210. Typically there is a herd of deer (the most Ive counted is 22) that roam the fairways. By the way, you should make a video of that course as the Los Angeles County recreation dept. has been putting quite a bit of money into improving the course. PS, secretly the best value course in the area. Also, Diamond Bar has recently undergone a major upgrade. Another good value.
Also, a couple of holes I saw played as draws that I almost always play as fades. Plus, the water holes are secretly tricky. Especially 15 and 16. 15 you cant see that the water secretly jutes out about 20 yards in front of the green with the bunker on the left preventing you from fading around it and a tree protecting the green on the right. The 16 is tricky because the wind sweeps over the hill behind the green and if you hit the ball too high it can get knocked down into the water. Many a pure shot of mine has surprisingly ended up in the water. This makes the red flag placement of the hole actually very difficult to birdie cause its so close to the water.
Like the channel, when is the next course?
You gotta check out Industry Hills specifically the Ike course. Hands down top course in LA count.
