  1. Excited to see you guys play… follow both of your channels, so this is awesome! 👍🏻🏌🏻‍♂️

  2. Just curious how do you get the confidence to commit to a swing change when you were already playing like a top player in the world? Love the content good luck in Q school!

  3. Finally Ben getting the respect he deserves by a respectable player! Knew Ben deserved it didn’t think it be James hope to see more of yall two together

  4. Love seeing James working hard and playing a match during some swing tweaks. Ben, solid stuff too. Great video.

Would love to see you get UK creators on the channel this off-season.

    Josh Oddy & James Wiltshire!!!

    Both tournament guys

  5. James what are you doing for face control at the top of your swing for face stabilization instead of rolling your wrist? Stronger grip, bowed at the top? Definitely have the same issue.

  6. Such good golf! James, for the S70 and Z30, if you have it paired, doesn't it place the pin location on the S70 after you tag it with the Z30?

  7. Absolute dime of a refresh pull. Boutta grab a drink and watch this gem, good luck to both gentlemen 🍻

  8. James! First hole (10), you shot 138. Then you said 134. Then you said it’s gonna play 4 yards less and came up with 128. Knew that one was coming up short, lol. Swing looks good though. I’m a believer. Subscribed!

  9. Watching your videos there is something bothering me with your mental approach. Seems a little too obsessive. I am not a pro golfer by any means and I dont claim to be… but your approach seems to be overtly controlled, tense and with a too rigid methodology (in a friendly match setting). Adding all these swing thoughts seems to make things even worse. it's not the mechanical part that confounds me, you have a good enough swing and you are a competitor in pro golf! But this is a game of chance and u keep repeating so much information that it becomes a negative. I think mentally you are in what is on the verge of a "negative self for filling prophecy". one example of that is the put u made late in the round where u keep saying "gotta feel that flow" before a put, and u miss it and says "didn't feel that flow". mentally, this is nothing but self sabotage. Sorry.

Seems like you are on the verge of "psyching yourself out". I understand pro golf comes with alot of pressure, a pressure that can't be mitigated by words or understood by people like me who never felt it, it must be an enormous weight on your shoulders. But to be honest, you are playing a match with a friend and you treat it like it's Sunday afternoon at Augusta. I also reconize that obsessive behaviour in myself. The problem with the latter is that, that very behaviour often leads to "a closed path" whereas u try to eliminate chance, fate from a game where those factors have a huge impact and to be honest are part of the beauty of the game.

Besides, how many times has a perfect shot hit a sprinkler head and bounced into water, happened to me twice this year – or other positive or negative "chance" events that is just part of the game. You dont have to change who you are, what you are is a good pro golfer. The great golfers though, are the ones that would just shoot 5 under on that course without overtly obsessing about every little thing and stop self sabotaging themselves to the point where the shots almost impossible to pull off as the criteria u set are impossible or often are not even necessary to evaluate!!

alot of your thinking about shots, are too my mind to overvalued and on the verge of looking too much at negative outcomes. I understand a pro golfer needs to play to misses. That is understandable. But in your mind the positive aspects must be more emphasised? To score you just need to hit positive shots to placements u want and can score from. Not evaluate every grain and possible threat for a miss. That must be secondary?

I think a way forward is to stop being your own worst caddie, or ask yourself what you would want from a caddie and to simplify this long post – today you were your own worst caddie. You really should find the opposite for a real one. if something could elevate your game it would be a real caddie who could take your mind more out of it. Stripe the ball. Score. Repeat.

I wish you all the best and im for sure watching your progress!

  10. James, your production quality/camera quality, and content is top-notch! when you make it on the tour, please keep producing content!!

  11. That was awesome. “He got me twice today”. You guys are awesome. I appreciate both your channels.

  12. Ben is good enough but the mental game is key… he needs a coach that can give him the keys to believing in his abilities… I think within the next year he will not only qualify for an event but place in the top 10!

  13. I freaking love competitive golf. Playing it. Watching it. Super fun video. Now go get your tour card at Q-school James!

  14. One of the very best parts about James is the way that he responds to anything with "ok ok" and just resets and moves on
