I first met Ryan at the Club at Admiral’s Cove in Jupiter, Florida, when I started taking my podcast seriously. I had actually launched it about a year earlier while I was still in high school, but during a visit to Jupiter on a break from playing college tennis is when I really began committing to it. When I met him, it wasn’t because I wanted to interview him as an athlete. There was just something about him that made me immediately respect him as a person and want to get to know him as a friend. When we first met at Admiral’s Cove, he told me he would come on the podcast. A couple of weeks later, I interviewed him during the 2022 U.S. Open at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts. At the time I was just getting started, and the fact that he took the time meant a lot. Nearly four years later, after all of his success, I had moved fully to Jupiter and reached out to him again. Honestly, I was a little nervous to text him because of everything he had accomplished. But he came on the podcast again the night before the Cognizant Classic, the night before his tee time. When I mentioned being hesitant to reach out, he told me something I’ll never forget: never forget where you started. Ryan and his family will always be in my thoughts and prayers. And if I ever find the one and get married, I hope I’ll be able to invite him to the wedding… LOL.. #trending #shorts #golf #pga #swing #trending #gaming #pgatour #masters #sports #games #fun #fyp
