Aimed at people of all ages and abilities, the New2Golf scheme provides all necessary equipment and professional tuition for a small fee.
The initiative is also a great way for returning golfers to get back into the swing of things.
The six-week introductory course will be held in the early evenings at the club’s practice ground, with the option to carry on with further sessions.
Golf is marketed as an enjoyable, gentle way to exercise, open to all ages, with last year’s intake ranging from ages eight to 70.

The sport is not only a full-body workout, but also offers a social aspect.
This ties in well with South Pembrokeshire Golf Club’s friendly reputation.
With views over the Haven waterway, the Pennar-based club caters to juniors, ladies, men, and seniors, and offers a multitude of social activities.
The clubhouse serves homemade food and provides meeting rooms.
Year-round club competitions suit all abilities, with friendly members keen to help beginners or those returning to the sport after a hiatus.
