Tommy Fleetwood speaks ahead of The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass, opening up about his family who currently live in Dubai amid tensions in the Middle East.
Fleetwood said his wife and children are still in the UAE but reassured reporters that they feel safe.
“My family are still in Dubai at the moment… the main thing has been that they are safe.”
Fleetwood also praised how the UAE has handled the situation.
“The country have done an unbelievable job at making everybody feel very safe and very secure.”
The Ryder Cup star also shared his thoughts on Shane Lowry’s collapse at Bay Hill, explaining why even the best players in the world can struggle to close out tournaments under pressure.
