This is how Tommy Fleetwood marked his new spider putter that has recently gone into his bag

Tommy is known for playing some unique styles of putters with his most recent one that he’s switching out from the taylormade truss

But that’s nothing compared to this one off putting alignment
.
There as a short interview with him talking about this putter but there was no mention of why he has had it made like this
.
Trying it out, it actually gives a nice aesthetically pleasing look to it even with the badly drawn lines but I couldn’t really put my finger on why
.
It reminds me a bit of a Versa colour style and seems to have the same sort of appeal to them
.
I’d also say it actually seems to help to align it a bit as well and that would be my guess as to why he has had it made this way
.
I think if Tommy can get his putting figured out then he will finally get his first pga title and even potentially a major
.
A handful of taylormade staff players have been switching into spiders and having a lot of success after doing so
.
