Great breakdown Luke! I have the D9 irons, trying to decide if it’s time for an upgrade. Both these and the XB’s look great.
Your opinion about forgiveness of these two… One finnish online store suggests XBs for hcp 0-14 and Dynapwr Forged hcp 5-20…. That difference was kind a surprise to me. Are XBs really that much ”unforgiving”?
I’ve played the 2024 Dynapwr Forged irons for the past year. I’ve been excited to hear about the XB release and was anxious to try them. Well, I finally got to demo the new XB irons. Results- Dynapwr Forged was longer, more solid feeling, and all around better for my swing. Keeping the Dynapwr Forged irons.
I’m probably more suited to the forged model but those xb’s are much better looking with the brushed satin.
