Join Luke, an average swing speed, mid-handicap golfer, as he reviews the brand new Wilson DYNAPWR Forged irons for 2026!
Luke starts the video by talking you through the technology, construction and looks of the new Wilson DYNAPWR Forged irons including the improved variable face thickness using AI simulation, Forged 8620 Carbon Steel face for an even softer feel, lower centre of gravity for increased launch and a polished mirror finish.
Next up Luke hits a batch of shots with the Wilson DNYAPWR Forged, capturing and sharing with you all the key TrackMan data, whilst talking about the feels, sounds and performance of these brand new irons.
Luke then returns home and offers a comprehensive and objective deep dive analysis into the performance of the Wilson DYNAPWR Forged irons, covering off their ball speeds, strong spin rates, good ball flight and high amounts of stopping power, whilst offering good distances. Here, Luke also offers a comparison between the Wilson DYNAPWR Forged and the Wilson Staff XB, which he captured on the same day, to help you work out which ones are right for you.
Finally, Luke gives you his rating on the Wilson DYNAPWR Forged and his reasoning. So are these irons slipping under the radar where all the noise is on the Wilson Staff XB? Let’s find out!

Top review as usual Luke. Thanks mate Paul
Great job Luke!
Always great to see you on our screens Luke
Fantastic review as usual
Have a great weekend ๐
Grest looking clubs Wilson is on their game for sure. Greet review Luke
I tested these and the XB a month ago and now i have some shiny Dynapower irons as they performed much better for me ๐ good review mate ๐
Great review Luke, Iโm still playing the D9 Forged, and absolutely love them, would an upgrade be worth it in your opinion
Great breakdown Luke! I have the D9 irons, trying to decide if itโs time for an upgrade. Both these and the XBโs look great.
Your opinion about forgiveness of these twoโฆ One finnish online store suggests XBs for hcp 0-14 and Dynapwr Forged hcp 5-20โฆ. That difference was kind a surprise to me. Are XBs really that much โunforgivingโ?
Iโve played the 2024 Dynapwr Forged irons for the past year. Iโve been excited to hear about the XB release and was anxious to try them. Well, I finally got to demo the new XB irons. Results- Dynapwr Forged was longer, more solid feeling, and all around better for my swing. Keeping the Dynapwr Forged irons.
Iโm probably more suited to the forged model but those xbโs are much better looking with the brushed satin.
Great review. My the way Luke. I loved that ultispeed ball long and stops very well on greens
