Second Place Was Never The Goal.

Tiger Woods explains the mindset behind greatness.

Winning isn’t luck.

It’s hunger.
Relentless pursuit.
An obsession with getting better.

Champions don’t chase comfort.

They chase first place.

Every day.

  1. It's cocky he came in a tournament and wants to win and doesn't wanna lose how is that being cocky why do something and even waste a second of your time doing it if you don't wanna be the best in the world either your the best in the world or just a loser

  2. While I agree the guy is a douchebag in the interview, I do think this kind of thing is needed for up and coming athletes. As a youngster if someone told me I couldn’t do something I tried twice as hard, didn’t always succeed but I made sure I gave it everything. These days interviews are smoke blowing exercises to hype them up but no one seems to be pushing/testing them anymore.

  3. You'll learn…

Senna had a similar response to a well regarded and accomplished interviewer (Jackie Stewart)… "If you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver"

Who is really the cocky one Curtis?
