Taylor Swift fans are not thrilled with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Whether the Kansas City Chiefs‘ future plans include bringing back Travis Kelce for one more year remains to be seen. With free agency kicking off on March 11, Kelce’s announcement as to whether he plans to retire or return for what would be his 14th season is imminent.
In the meantime, the 36-year-old tight end is making the most of his free time. In addition to planning a wedding with his fiancée, Taylor Swift, he’s hanging out with his older brother, Jason Kelce.
The 11-time Pro Bowler joined Jason at Tomorrow’s Golf League (TGL) at the Sofi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, on March 3. While Travis appeared to have a great time at the tournament, chatting it up with golf legend and TGL co-owner Tiger Woods, he also found himself in hot water with some Swifties.
Taylor Swift Fans Shared Strongly Mixed Reactions to Travis Kelce Chatting With Kai Trump

Videos of Travis chatting with Kai Trump posted on X by Tyler Boronski immediately drew attention. Kai, 18, is the daughter of Don Jr. and Vanessa Trump, the latter of whom is now dating Woods.
Kai’s grandfather, President Donald Trump, made it clear he’s no fan of the All-Pro’s future bride. After Swift endorsed former Vice President Kamala Harris, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ Trump posted on Truth Social. Trump also used AI images of the pop star falsely endorsing him ahead of the 2024 election.
After Super LIX, the 79-year-old Commander-in-Chief tried to claim that Swift was booed out of Caesars Superdome amid the Chiefs’ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Therefore, many fans of the singer were not thrilled to see Travis hanging out with Kai. However, other Swifties felt he was simply being polite to a fan.

One fan posted, “not a good look! that’s all i’m gonna say!” One woman countered, “Shes a teenager playing golf, what is he supposed to do?”
A fan account added, “Don’t be dumb. That’s Tiger Woods’ girlfriend’s daughter and when you’re NFL GOAT everyone wants to say hi.”
One X user admitted, “Tay is better than me I’d start a fight.” Another fan commented, “he don’t even know who that girl is. i think we good.”
Fans Accused Kai Trump of Copying Travis Kelce’s Tru Kolors Logo
Amid Kelce’s numerous off-the-field projects, he launched a collection with American Eagle with his Tru Kolors brand. The logo includes the “T” and “K” overlapped.
When Kai launched a clothing label with her initials, fans immediately noticed how similar the intertwined “T” and “K” logo was to Kelce’s logo. “We will not be commenting on this,” an American Eagle spokesperson told WWD.
Susan Scafidi, The Fashion Law Institute at Fordham University’s founder told the outlet, “Although it can be challenging to claim ownership of a mere letter or a pair of letters in a crowded field of similar logos, the resemblance between the stylized ‘TK’ and ’KT’ logos could give rise to a trademark kerfuffle.
“Neither Trump nor Kelce appears to have registered their respective overlapping initials with the U.S. Trademark Office, but the similarities of position and font leave open the possibility of a common law claim.”
