I’ve been wanting to build a garage sim for a while to keep playing through the winter months and for quick practice sessions year-round. Thanks to some elbow grease and a lot of ideas from this channel, it’s nearly complete!

I needed to keep the garage functional as…well, a garage, so I went with the retractable setup. Takes less than 5 minutes total to pull the vehicles out and set up the hitting mats, screen, and launch monitor.

Also, I’m a lefty so I wanted to make sure it could accommodate both lefties and righties. Didn’t do an overhead LM for portability and space reasons.

I still need to add some foam panels to the ceiling and might add some LED strips to the curtain rails as well.

Launch monitor: Garmin R50

Roller: METechs

Screen: Spectrum

Hitting Strip: SIGPro Softy

Hitting area: DIY. 3 4’x4’ panels that can lock together.

Landing area: Tractor Supply stall mats

Projector: Optoma GT2100HDR

Not going to put the pricing in to start but can add them if people are interested!

  1. Looks awesome, what did you use to attach the screen to the roller? Velcro?

Where did you purchase the curtains? Have you had any issues with balls going between the screen and curtain edge? Trying to find effective and cheap enclosure options, thanks!

How wide is the entire “enclosure”?
