The weekend has arrived at the 2026 Genesis Invitational, and there’s no rain in sight from here on out. Golf fans have certainly seen enough of that after a weather delay forced the first round to wrap up while the second round was rolling Friday.
Marco Penge had a stellar day, putting up a 64 to go 12 under par for the tournament. Rory McIlroy stayed hot as well, while Xander Schauffele, Jacob Bridgeman and Adam Scott are among the others looking to stake their claim at Riviera in Round 3.
Scottie Scheffler survived the cut by the skin of his teeth. He’s bounced back from brutal starts in each of his three PGA Tour events so far in 2026, ending up in the top-5 of each and winning The American Express. Can he do it again? Or will Min Woo Lee, Max Greyserman, Matt Fitzpatrick or Tommy Fleetwood be the one to rocket up the leaderboard on moving day?
