Advice appreciated! I’m designing a golf simulator/workout room. I plan to do a ceiling mounted launch monitor and short throw projector on drop mounts (10 ft ceilings, vaulted up to 14 feet ish). Room is 20×18.5 ft.
My question is, if I’m having a peloton on one side of the room and treadmill on the other, with a hitting mat in the middle. What are my best options for hitting enclosures? I feel like the standard box shaped enclosures would look weird in this space with the high vaulted ceilings. I’ve thought about retractable curtains to protect the workout equipment on the sides but don’t love the look. Considering padded cushions along roof and side walls and maybe instead of an enclosure I do a screen wall with cushions all around? Then hope I have enough clearance to not shank into equipment? Any creative ideas/tips appreciated!! Bonus points for any mock ups.

awith 20×18.5 you have tons of room to work with. skip the traditional box enclosure and do a full wall screen setup with side curtains on ceiling mounted tracks so you can pull them across when hitting and push them back when working out. way cleaner look with vaulted ceilings and keeps the peloton and treadmill protected without looking like a batting cage

You could also use netting that can be stored along the side of the bay when not being used.
