Dufey capped the week tied for seventh in the field in par-4 scoring average (4.07, +2) and tied for third with 11 total birdies across 54 holes.
Hayden Bowman followed with a 4-over 76 on Tuesday to end the event at 9-over 225, tying for 36th. Bowman recorded 24 pars over the first two rounds and added 11 more in the final round, continuing to anchor LCU’s lineup with consistent ball-striking throughout the week.

Freshman Dylan Ford rounded out the team scoring with an 81 on Tuesday, finishing at 26-over 242 (T81) in his spring debut.
As a team, LCU finished the tournament tied for third in total eagles (3) and ranked among the top 10 in the field in par-4 scoring and birdies, continuing a trend from Monday’s opening 36 holes. The Chaparrals totaled 33 birdies for the event and limited costly mistakes by avoiding big numbers on the par 5s, an area that proved pivotal across the leaderboard.
Midwestern State claimed the team title with a three-round score of 864, while St. Mary’s placed second at 877 and Cameron finished third at 878. Northeastern State’s Nathan Biais captured individual medalist honors at 4-under 212.
The Rattler Invitational marked LCU’s first event of the spring portion of the 2025–26 schedule. The Chaparrals will look to build off a week that featured three top-43 individual finishes as they continue the spring slate Feb. 23 in Stockton, Calif. at RJGA Stockton Invitational, which is scheduled at The Reserve at Spanos Park.
