  1. Man I am so bullish on Ben now. He is shaping to be such an awesome player and very respected man. He was a bit cocky his freshman season…. It was annoying. But he back up with talent and also took it down a notch with the antics. I really hope he can challenge for a gs title in the next few years. He will end up being top American for the next 10 years

  2. My last name is Shelton too, so I take pride in Ben’s success. He is such an exciting player to watch- articulate and talented. Love his relationship with his mom and dad. Keep winning Ben!

  3. First off to see a greatful, disiplined, humble, american win instead of someone with a heavy accent 😂. This kid is special, and to thank God his creator is also refreshing in Satans world.

  4. Not the biggest Taylor Fritz fan, but man did I want him to win this match! Shelton talks a good game after a match, but his on court behavior during the match is so annoying! Since he first burst on to the scene as a teenager he started flipping the shades down, doing the dialed in phone celebration. And of course with his over the top screaming when he wins a point. I find that behavior very unsportsmanlike and disrespectful to the game as well as his opponent. Of course I'm a fan of players like Elena Rybakina, who never shows up other players by celebrating like crazy after winning a point. As I watch his father in the stands grinning away at his antics, I wonder did he encourage this behavior growing up? I would think as a father you would teach proper on court etiquette, don't showup or disrespect your opponent. I know if I'm Fritz or any other player it would be hard not to say something to him at the net. Like hey tone it down buddy!!

  5. So Ben lots to conquer this year…I believe you will be very close if not triumphant in the coming slams..
For tweny years I lost my interest in tennis and then I saw you…making it sparkle again!
    Its Happening …you'll see !
