Mark is a 3-index golfer, and this was his first ever golf lesson. Despite having a good-looking swing, he was struggling badly with iron consistency. Poor contact, no compression, and very unpredictable direction. In this live lesson, we did something unusual: we didn’t change his golf swing at all.

The results were instant: ball first, turf after – without adding swing thoughts or complexity.

This lesson is a powerful reminder that sometimes the biggest improvements don’t come from changing technique, but from fixing the foundations first.
If you feel like your swing looks good but your results don’t match, this video will really resonate.

  1. I feel like the lack of hip rotation is the root cause of his over the top and dip into the strike. He slides and his hip gets stuck, sways back instead of turning. Definitely had the ball too forward in his stance.

  2. Hey Boys, would be nice to follow Mark's scores and index. Bet he gets a profound change quickly.
My own issues (and index) are similar but my coach wants my right shoulder lower than Mark…Finding that change more difficult than the others.
