  1. I would need to have strong availability for ammo.
Rare calibers won't cut it for me..

    1. .233/5.56
    2. .308/ 30-06
    3. .300 magnum/ .375

  2. 22lr 6arc 7prc might as well get a .223 and a 12gauge and a couple 300 blacks and a reloading set up and a few 9mm and maybe 3-6 suppressors doesn’t hurt to get a 22-250, 22creed or arc. Got to have these things bare minimum. The minimum continues to grow too. 😂

  3. 30-06–12 gauge and 22lr for any thing on earth all about ammo and shot placement. Shoot anything in the eye face head it's going down with a 220 grain 30-06

  4. You don't need????? Wtf does that have to do with anything???😂😂😂 that sounds like Canadian liberal nonsense

  5. It's questions like this that really allow us to see how spoiled we are. 22lr in a 1022, 3006 in a 98 mauser, and 12 gauge double barrel with single trigger and both barrels tapped for chokes. If a man can't make it happen with that something is wrong.

  6. I will never understand why someone wants a do-it-all rifle. You buy a rifle for a specific reason or animal. That makes for more rifles in the collection and more excuses to tell the ol lady

  7. For your workhorse.. not having a 30-06 is kind of a no brainer. Because it covers animals from lightweight all the way up to the hammer. In hunting distances a 300 win mag isn’t going to kill better than a 30-06. You might get better ballistics. But in terms of performance they will kill just the same. And I’ve worked up some loads that actually make the 30-06 a very fast and flat shooter. The 190 accubond long range has identical ballistics to a 142 grain accubond long range from a 6.5 creedmoor. So it’s honestly a fine long range gun too.

  8. -7mm mag Browning or 300wm 270wsm
    Bolt gold medalion 😊❤1rst
-22 lr semi or 410 bolt or both in rifle 2nd
-308 short heavy barrel or 12ga Benelli/beretta or 10mm carbine Ruger would be nice semi as 3rd !!
Small mag 22-250, 22or 6,5 creed, 22 satan, 5,56 nato or 300 blackout (sub fat grain), 17hmr, 22mag, high Power air rifle as 4th for fun
What do u hunt? Varmint, Bird, moose, elk, boar…
Bow and crossbow Are very good choice

  9. My list I would like to get is a 22lr semi & lever, 308 bolt, 12ga semi, and 30-30 lever. So five. Then if I do want 10 guns, a 17HMR bolt, .410 revolver rifle, 7.62 semi (SKS), 9mm semi rifle, 300WM Bolt or 338L Bolt.

  10. For me …especially if I was in a survival situation ) I’d go with 7mm-08 ( preferred for less recoil ,flatter trajectory ., and similar energy to .308) or .308 ( for mass availability) , 20ga , and .22 mag .

But for me being realistic and in my specific case , I’m going to shoot med/lg game probably within 350yards , bird would be with in 25-300ft ( duck , quail , douse , dove) and small fur bearers would be with in 15-50 yards .

Recoil control and weight and accuracy would be big factors to me and minimal distance

  11. That's your opinion i respect it but you're wrong especially in target shooting what may work on the range may not work for hunting

  12. He is right and totally wrong at the same time. I would argue, you need 5 calibers. .22 lr, 9 mm, .223 Rem. (or 7,62×39 mm), .308 (or .30-06 or 8x57mm) and 12 Gauge (or 16 Gauge). With that, almost every game or target or selfdefense shooting is covered. The calibers in the video are unicorns, you can't find when needed. The caliber should be proper AND available AND inexpensive. He uses proper calibers that are poorly available and expensive.

  13. 30-06 and .308 are among the most common and afforable rounds. 5.56/.223 & 7.62 x 29 are nifty but way more expensive than not so long ago. The old .22 can do a lot and is still affordable. Other bullets are great but the less common seem to have gotten really expensive. I can't afford to shoot nearly as much as I used to and I miss it…

  14. Okay, he said three different rifles, and I keep saying in the comments 12 gauge. Am I the only one that doesn't consider a shotgun a rifle?

  15. but theres ammo at every level for the .06. sub-sonic & super fast.. hollow point, armored perching, silver tip(for werewolves),super light to super heavy, and what a track record

  16. I only have 2 and I can hunt anything with them my 270 and 7 mm I feel confident taking down any animal with.

  17. I think I could make due with a .22 LR and a .308 WIN. I own several .22 LR but my deer rifle is a .260 REM . . . because the elk were gone around these woods 250 years ago. But I would add a 21" barrel .223 REM as a third for varmints.
