Square Golf | GSPro | Full 18 – The Fortress Golf Course
The Fortress is one of Michigan’s top 25 golf courses. Designed by golf architect Dick Nugent in 1992, this breathtaking beauty spans over 6,800 yards of remarkable gameplay, highlighted by fescue-covered mounds, and lush sectioned greens.
I picked this course purely because of the name. I mean, who wouldn’t want to take on The Fortress? I did take a mulligan on 17 after a short chip from the rough, somehow backed up a foot, which I felt was pushing the laws of physics. Also, peep that gap I found through the trees on 18…I know it’s not real life, but it still felt like threading the needle. Overall, a really fun course to play.
