The Mizzou men’s golf team wrapped up the second day of action in Hawaii on Friday, finishing in 16th place of 19 teams.

Sophomore Trent Mierl led the Tigers with a two-over 72 in the second round. He carded two birdies on the day and moved up 10 spots in the standings as he now is in 86th with a two-day score of +9.

Overall, senior Virgilio Paz leads Mizzou and sits in 45th place with a two-day tally of +4. He finished with a second-round 73 to finish with the top score after 36 holes for the Tigers. Junior Brock Snyder matched Paz with a 73 on Friday and is second overall on the team at +7.

The final day of action is set for Saturday with the schools teeing off at 1 p.m. CT.
