It doesn’t happen too often, but every now and then I go and check out some local disc stores, just to be able to touch and feel the discs that could be right for me. Getting to hand pick some stuff for the bag might just be worth the extra money.

  1. Love to see you giving Marshall St love. They’re my favorite people in the business ❤

  2. @SimonLizotte8332 I really think this could be a new series for you that showcases the great pro shops around the country and encourage people to support their local shops. You could get views and do a huge service for local DG communities. I hope to see you in Southern Ohio one day at Apollo Records snagging discs and vinyl.

  3. He could easily get any disc he wants for free. But sports his local pro shops. That's a true pro.
And lets not ignore all the discs in the foreground

  4. Happy to see the Squirrel King stamp! One of my favorite Time-Lapses in the bag with that stamp.

  5. Love videos where pros nerds out over discs!

Both you and Eagle have now said you'd prefer not to throw Dimensions this year, how come? Are they going out of production?

  6. It is such a good feeling to find your own "money run" in a shop.

Online is cool, but local knowledge is the best. The more you go back, the better advice you get.

  7. What a tease LOL
Showing me the proton bokeh at Marshall Street only for them to tell me it's not available for me to purchase online, only in person (I live in Atlanta) LOL

  8. 30 bucks for a Simon Line disc vs 20 for regular? I mean I don't begrudge the guy for making money. Good for him, but if I'm going to pay a 50 percent mark up to support a player it's not gonna be one of the guys with a million dollar per year contract for 10 years. Not on my budget. More power to you though if you have enough money to donate to millionaires. I mean who knows how much of that money he gets. I'm sure Marshall Street is taking a cut of the mark up, and if I were MVP I would have arranged the deal to not give him much, if any, of the disc sales given the million a year contract. Either way, hard pass on the 50% mark up.

  9. I am also red-green color blind. I look for the same exact colors as you except I have a watermelon hex that is too cool not to throw. Have lost it 3 times across my state and had it returned all 3 times.

  10. My daughter has the same black Hex with aqua/teal/green rim. In her Gyro box she got a Pixel that's also black with the same aqua/teal/green rim. They're some of her favorite discs.

  11. "Dark grey" he says, holding a dark green disc in his hand haha
I know Simon is color blind so i'm not surprised, but it's still funny to hear with how much confidence he says it, since in his eyes he's not wrong at all.

  12. Interesting with the colors, I see a lot of greens and yellows get left cause they’re hard to see in the grass

  13. Simon, did nobody tell you about the Limit? The Energy, as i'm sure you will soon find out, is basically a 13 speed Tilt. It's preposterous. Someone tell him about the Limit, it is not as overstable as the numbers suggest, it actually has some glide, i think Simon would love it.
