On Tuesday, Justin Thomas announced via Instagram that he has been cleared for golf activity following his microdiscectomy in November. One of the best players in the world is going to be back out on the PGA TOUR sooner rather than later.

“After some follow up imaging and meeting with my Dr and team, I’m officially cleared for all golf activity! It feels great to be swinging freely again and getting some reps in on the course,” Thomas wrote in the post.

JT didn’t pinpoint an event he’d like to return at, but in a post from January he wrote that he was targeting sometime during the Florida Swing. The TOUR heads to the Sunshine State in two weeks for the Cognizant Classic.

Regardless of the tournament, it’s going to be nice having the World No. 12 back in the mix.
