Rick puts the brand-new Cobra 3DP lineup to the test! 🔥

In this video he dives into all three heads in the 3DP family, looks at ball speed, forgiveness and feel, and answers the big question: are these the next “point-and-shoot” irons for your bag?

Let us know which head you’d game in the comments and what you want us to test next 👇

Welcome to H.I.T Golf Reviews – the home of honest, independent and trustworthy golf equipment reviews.

If you want straight-talking advice on drivers, irons, wedges, putters, golf balls and golf tech, you’re in the right place. Every review is based on proper testing, launch monitor data and real on-course experience – not marketing slides.

We test all the big names (TaylorMade, Callaway, Ping, Titleist, Mizuno, Cobra and more) plus the direct-to-consumer brands you’re starting to hear about. New vs old, budget vs premium, “forgiving” vs “players” – we put them head-to-head so you can see what actually performs.

Our testing is built around launch monitor data (GCQuad) and real-world shots, but we always explain the numbers in normal-golfer language. No fluff, no hidden agendas – just whether a club will help your game or not.

Whether you’re:
buying your first proper set,
a mid-handicapper looking for more forgiveness, or
a low-handicap player chasing that perfect combo of feel and distance,

H.I.T is here to help you pick the right gear for your swing, not just the newest thing on the shelf.

Why H.I.T exists:
To cut through the hype.
To give golfers the truth.
To save you time, money and a few golf balls.
To make the game a bit easier – and more fun.

  1. I am gaming these the Standard model. They are absurdly forgiving and feel like a forged club and give you all the feedback you want. No hot spots. Very little distance loss off-center strikes. I’m excited for an expanded line and potential combo set options.

This is a paradigm shift in iron design. There’s nothing like them. Go look at AskGolfNuts video and heatmap of face. It’s wild.

  2. Commenting coming in before they could finish the video 😂. 2026 is gonna be wild for golf tech. Wonder if Cobra will offer a One Length version?

  3. Hi Rick, I’m in the market for a new driver and I am between the callaway ai smoke max d and the taylormade qi10 standard model which one would you say performs better? Thanks deeply appreciate it

  4. Cheaper way to make irons with 3d casts.. yet double the price of usual forged irons.. crazy crazy.. how to price urself out the market completely which they have limited space in the iron market already..

  5. Cobra makes the best stuff, or at least as good as the other big box brands. They've slowly taken over a lot of my bag. Wedges and putter the only thing I don't have from Cobra.

  6. Avoda Golf was first to market with 3D printed irons. Would love to see a review on Avoda generally. Maybe their bulge face models

  7. I had the 3dp tours last year and they were great. But compare them to the used PXG 0317T irons I'm using now, and are they $1500 better for a 7 club set? No, they're not. If these were more competitively priced, even around $1600 for a 7 iron set, these would sell like hot cakes. But I think they will still be priced out for many people. This could be such a sick combo set though. X in the 4 Iron, DP in the 5-7 Iron, and MB in the 8-PW.

  8. I couldn’t bear spending all that cash and being unable to get mud out from that mesh on the back 😬

  9. You should compare the expensive cobra 3d printed irons to avoda curved irons. They can be around 4k dollars. And they are forgiving too
