In the third round of the 2025 3M Open, Kurt Kitayama tied the course record with an 11-under 60, getting to 17-under after 54 holes.
The PGA TOUR returns to TPC Twin Cities in Minnesota this week for the 3M Open. Maverick McNealy returns to the “Land of 10,000 Lakes” as the highest ranked golfer in the field and is on the hunt for a spot on the U.S. Team at the Ryder Cup. McNealy finished tied for third last year in Minnesota and has six top 10 finishes in 2025. Joining McNealy is Chris Gotterup, as he returns to the U.S. with momentum on his side. Gotterup won the Genesis Scottish Open and followed that up with a solo third at The Open Championship. Jhonattan Vegas returns to the 3M Open looking to become the first golfer to successfully go win back-to-back in the tournament’s history. Adam Scott is set to make his tournament debut as he looks to improve his standing for the FedExCup Playoffs. Other key names are Wyndham Clark, Tony Finau, Rickie Fowler, Max Homa, and Tom Kim.

Just finished watching Happy Gilmore 2. I know nothing of golf, but I liked how I could tell that all those small roles and extras were pro golfers. I really liked the movie, but if I was a golf fan I'll probably love it cause of all the golf cameos. Do any golf fans think this movie was amazing?

Watched this tournament all the way through. Kurt's parents live in Chico, CA as do I. Since marrying a Chico boy in 1974. I would love to meet him sometime. It's fun to route for a kid whose parents live here in Chico! Besides rooting for Scottie Scheffler, I will now be rooting for Kurt Kitayama!!
