The Motocaddy M7 GPS Remote has been the best overall golf cart for the past couple of years in TG testing. It’s tough to see this cart losing its title based on the changes and introductions Motocaddy have made.
This multi-award winning golf cart features all-new, high-performance GPS technology that can be personalized with shortcuts to the features you use most.
Motocaddy’s in-house software engineers have developed a system that allows golfers to choose between 2D or 3D mapping. Whether you opt for 2D or 3D, there’s also the option to watch a cutting-edge 3D hole flyover, 3D panning, 2D zoom options, and 2D radial distance markers.
All of this can be viewed on a super responsive 3.5″ touchscreen display with pin-point accuracy. Access over 40,000 pre-loaded courses where you can see full hole mapping in upgraded, next-generation high resolution, dynamic green view, front, middle, and back distances, hazard information, and drag-and-drop-target planning in either light or dark mode for optimal visibility, as well as in a potrait or landscape orientation.
The GPS is the focal point of this model, and with that, you do get lifetime GPS mapping, but along with the outstanding GPS, there’s also Bluetooth powered smartphone alerts, a USB port for on-the-go charging (you can charge the remote and use it at the same time), smartphone notifications, super-fast Wi-Fi for over-the-air firmware and course updates, clock, round timer, and a very handy lost-ball timer.
Motocaddy haven’t made any drastic changes to the chasis of the M7 GPS Remote. The modern, sleek automotive-inspired design includes the Click ‘n’ Connect cable-free lithium battery that integrates seamlessly into the stylish design.
The battery incorporates patented auto-disconnect technology which automatically powers off the cart when folded. This triggers a pop-up port for quick and easy charging.
Differences from the prior generation are in the handle grips and wheels. The new wheels are 10-spoke with a new all-terrain tread. The retractable rear anti-tip stabilizing wheel can remain attached for folding.
Downhill Control (DHC) is a key component of the M7 GPS Remote, which automatically regulates cart speed on slopes. Another feature is the Adaptive Terrain Stability (ATS) technology, which helps keep the cart traveling straight with stability while it continuously monitors wheel speed and load to adjust motor output in real time.
