The first item is a promotional display of the iron models available at the time (around 2015). Next is a 6 page brochure for 2 iron models, and last are yardage cards for their low, medium and high launching versions. They made heads in every loft from 20* to 47*, and the heads were stamped with the loft instead of traditional iron numbers.

My Dad’s brother worked at Simpson. He helped Dad buy a set of Ben Hogan blades at staff prices. I’d borrow them once or twice a year (& thought I was a rotten golfer). Their sweet spot is tiny & they’re very unforgiving. It wasn’t until I got fitted in the simulator for a new set of TaylorMade clubs that I started to understand why golf had been so difficult.
Pretty neat!
The Apex Channel Backs are my favorite clubs of all time
I’d love to try these out. Probably never will have the chance.
I know a fitter who cuts clubheads like that in order to call out sales reps who try to glaze their own equipment too much. Apparently a lot of the “high tech” clubs have a bit of variation on the inside from what they tell you. He refuses to sell tylermade because of it apparently, and almost stopped titleist too.
That’s really cool, thanks for sharing.
