TUCSON, Ariz. – Oklahoma State’s women’s golf team continued its spring season at the Thunderbird Intercollegiate on Monday, ending the day tied for 10th place.
Over 36 holes of play, the Cowgirls carded a first-round 297, followed by a 312 in the second.
Oklahoma State stands 36 strokes behind first-place Stanford entering the tournament’s final round.
Summer Lee’s 73-77—150 scorecard led the Cowgirls. The sophomore picked up a team-best 6 birdies and closed Monday’s action tied for 27th place at 6-over.
Fellow sophomore Lucy Darr added rounds of 73 and 79. Darr’s 26 pars on the day tied for fourth-best among the event’s 80 golfers.
Tarapath Panya played to a 76-81—157 scorecard.
Grace Kilcrease ended the day at 15 strokes over par.
The Cowgirls return to the course tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. for the third and final round of the Thunderbird Intercollegiate.
