The 2026 season is nearing full swing as the first Signature Event on the PGA Tour is upon us while the Ladies European Tour returns as a host of Irish look to make their mark. The DP World Tour takes a break after a thrilling desert period as LIV Golf heads down under.

PGA Tour

Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry will be hoping to go toe to toe once again at Pebble Beach as the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am gets underway as the first Signature Event of the season begins.

McIlroy won this title last season as he went on a glorious spring run which included the Players and of course, the Masters. It was an Irish 1-2 at Pebble last year as he and Lowry finished as the leading players.

McIlroy’s desert swing didn’t go as planned while Lowry was in great form despite missing out on a chance to end his victory drought which spans back to 2022.

Scottie Scheffler is also in the field so it’s a first glimpse at the world’s number one and two players this week.

Ladies European Tour

Lauren Walsh and Anna Foster kick off their Ladies European Tour season at Riyadh Golf Club at the PIF Saudi Ladies International.

Walsh will play a handful of early LET events as she builds up her form ahead of her maiden LPGA Tour campaign while Foster will be eyeing the top-10 on the Order of Merit as she looks to take the next step after a very encouraging rookie year last term.

Sara Byrne is first reserve ahead of Wednesday’s opening round.

Last week saw the LET announce a record prize purse for the 2026 season with players competing for over €40 million for the first time in its history.

The PIF Saudi Ladies International, which is the first event of the 2026 PIF Global Series, will be contested as a 72-hole stroke play tournament, with a cut after 36 holes, and carries a prize purse of $5 million USD.

World number five and four-time LET winner Charley Hull is in attendance having finished in the top 10 during last year’s edition.

LIV Golf Adelaide

It’ll be party time for LIV Golf as the Saudi backed tour heads down under to Grange Golf Club where Tom McKibbin and Graeme McDowell will look to build on impressive displays in Riyadh last week.

HotelPlanner Tour

It’s leg three of the South African swing with Conor Purcell, Gary Hurley, Max Kennedy and Liam Nolan all in action. Meanwhile, Rowan Lester and Liam Grehan will compete in a pre-qualifier for Sunshine Tour members to earn spots in the field for the co-sanctioned event.
