DADE CITY, FL – The Wright State golf team tees off its spring 2026 schedule Monday morning at the Lake Jovita Invitational at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club. Action will begin with 8:30 a.m. shotgun starts on both Monday and Tuesday.

The Raiders will compete in a 15-team field against host Ball State, Bowling Green, Butler, Central Michigan, Charleston Southern, Connecticut, Dayton, Georgia State, Loyola-Chicago, Richmond, South Florida, Valparaiso, Winthrop, Xavier and Wright State.
Wright State begins the spring after being selected atop the Horizon League preseason coaches poll for the seventh consecutive season. The Raiders finished the fall with four top five team finishes, including finishing tied for third at the Earl Yestingmeier Invitational and a pair of fourth-place finishes at the Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate and Virtues Intercollegiate.
Wright State captured its ninth Horizon League Championship last spring, the second-most all-time in the Horizon, while the Raiders have won fourth team championships in the last six seasons. The Raiders finished with six top-five finishes in 12 total tournaments this season spanning the fall and spring schedule, highlighted by three-straight team titles in April – at The Jewell, Wright State Invitational and Horizon League Championship. Timmy Hollenbeck and Ochs earned Horizon League Co-Golfer of the Year honors and Conner Lash was recognized as the League’s Coach of the Year, with Hollenbeck and Ochs both also named to the seven-member HL Golf All-Academic Team.
