Finding most courses in the UK are looking like this around the greens, I’m thinning it or fatting it currently, don’t feel like I’ve got any chance of getting the ball in the air with no grass and so much give in the ground
Toe down, right? That’s at least what my much better buddy told me.

Lower lofted club, 7-9 depending on distance, and just bump and running it up there

47 deg pw. Nice and easy hitting ball first and expecting some roll out

Not a lot of great options. Shorter shots you can use the toe down method to pick it. With lofted clubs it still has a little bit of check. Longer shots just come down to good ball first contact.

The only high perentage way to handle this (short of being an elite golfer – im sure those guys have the skill to execute all sorts of shots from here) is bascially a low running chip with a higher lofted club and ball way back in your stance. Something like a pw or 9i. Ball will come out hot, so just accept it and aim into a hill to take speed off or just aim to a wide open area with lots of room for roll out.
