As is true at so many golf clubs, the captains’ drive-in marks the official start to the season at Coollattin and is accompanied by all the appropriate pomp and ceremony.
But what the club couldn’t depend on in recent days, however, was the weather, awful as it has been of late. Mercifully, and aptly, a rare sunny day greeted the more-than 70 golfers present to witness the 2026 drive-in.
