Jon landed more significant strikes in every round, except round 5 where it was 24-24. He also landed at a much higher percentage each round. He displayed more stamina down the stretch, and looked better in the championship rounds. The narrative that he lost this fight is just people who dont like Jones trying to bash him for no reason.

if the fight went on any onger jones would have killed him, guy saying its a robbery have lost their minds. jones had more in his arsenal, he took damage yes but ultimately he was composed all through. gustav a great fighter but he was running on empty and didnt do enough at the end

Jones won rounds 2, 3, 5…10-9. Gustafson won rounds 1 & 4 10-9. 48-47 jones. Most impressive part of this fight was Gustafsons takedown defense. Jones wins alot of his fights smothering you with elbows while hes on top, and he knew that
Jones poked him just because he was losing on the feet and got taken down, before Big John Mccarty stepped in he wanted to elbow Guss to the face, absolute scum to the sport.

Just like Gane did with Tom Aspinal. Its a fluke one time at the Champianship level for Gane to do that 2 TIMES is an pretty strong indecator you know your losing or your gonna lose .
