Patrick Reed holds a two-stroke lead heading into the final round of the Qatar Masters after a steady showing on Saturday, in which he recorded 16 pars and two birdies.
The 2018 Masters champion, who recently announced his departure from the LIV Tour, was solid if unspectacular in his third round, with birdies on the second and the par-5 10th the only splashes of colour on his card.
The American lies on 14-under par overall, two shots ahead of Denmark’s Jacob Skov Olesen, who was the best performing of the chasers with a four-under 68, decorated by a blistering back nine which included five birdies.

Reed’s playing partner Joakim Lagergren slipped off the pace slightly with a one-over par 73 seeing him fall back to 10-under.
The overnight leader is seeking his second DP World Tour victory of the season, having won the Dubai Desert Classic last month. In the days following, Reed confirmed his defection from the LIV Tour, which will mean he’ll be a regular on the DP World Tour until he becomes eligible for the PGA Tour again in August.
Pádraig Harrington carded a one-under par 71 to sit on four-under overall in tied-34th.
The Dubliner, who is making his 500th start on the tour, recorded birdies on the first, sixth, 10th and 14th holes with dropped strokes on the eighth, 13th, and the par-5 18th.
