Hi guys i played the wilson D300s for a couple of yrs after watching your testing of them and traded them in but to be honest i regretted it soon after wilson make some great irons im now thinking of going back to them cheers guys.
I tried those irons at my golf shop they look amazing feel great and the performance is just outstanding green holding spin. I game the p770 I do love them so I think I can speak to how they compare, if I was in the market for some new irons and had to choose between the p770 and the Wilsons I would go with the Wilsons they just performed and their feel was delightful.
Like to test this iron …I hit last years blade and cb at the pga superstore in Knoxville tn ….I am doing not have enough speed anymore to game them but I was little shocked that I actually had better numbers and dispersion with the blade over the cb …..but i was only averaging about 145 with 7 iron ….which is only 10 yards off my ping i230s ( traditional/retro loft) …..and i know i will get hammered over stating my yardage …..but my lofts are not jacked up …I started playing golf in the late 80s early 90s …and I would game jacked up lofted clubs and tried to but struggled with consistency with them …might hit 20 shots with 7 iron that went 170 and then get one that went 185 …and i just couldnt find a good gapping like that …my i230s are 10 yards apart..and have good forgiveness….but i am just shy of 50 and going to swap out to grapite shafts soon ….so i will probably give this iron a go and see if it works for me ….but i would say it will be a combo set of srixon zxi 5 and 7 …
Titleist T200??? They were replaced LAS YEAR by the extremely well received T250, which can be found in the bags of decerning and outrageously good-looking golfers everywhere!!! 😜 T250 mentioned at 12:50.
And the XB:s are for who? Im hcp 15 going down…i want t believe…would they be a good fit for me? pretty solid iron play…yes, its how you are as a iron striker
Most underrated brand in golf is Wilson This year Taylormade are telling us that the paint on our ball is ruining our game and has developed a paint for the Tp5, that's special just like my mum said I was and they will charge you £55 for the pleasure Wilson knew this years ago They make their balls with the Raw option Really good balls too Wilson
Every iron you test is the best you've ever tested, it's getting boring James, you just loose credibility when you say these things,it's like crying wolf, no one believes what you say anymore.
Wilson just make great clubs. I am still using the launch pad 2, which needs a change but so many choices now. Need to see if I can test and get a fitting
Not seen a bad review on these clubs, literally not a single bad review I absolutely love these need to find a fitter in Leeds area that fits them as wouldn’t mind a set to swap between my Mizuno 243s that I’m not ready to fully part with yet haha

Those FG Tour V6 irons were some super irons too! very soft when stuck in the middle! you really get that "ball stays in the face" feeling!

Ditched my Callaways and bought the Wilson XP's 3 weeks ago. Love the feel of them.

It’s obvious you live in a different realm! £6k for a launch monitor! Good it maybe but it won’t improve most golfers game to justify that much
