LIV Golf’s individual champion will no longer scoop a gargantuan $18m.
Two-time major winner Dustin Johnson claimed the mammoth paycheque at the end of the breakaway’s ‘beta-test’ campaign in 2022.
America’s Talor Gooch banked the eight-figure sum in 2023 before Jon Rahm became $36m richer after winning back-to-back titles.
But Rahm the top points scorer in the individual standings will walk away with only $6m in 2026, with $3m going to the runner-up and $1m to third.
The news was revealed in LIV Golf’s media guide that was shared ahead of their curtain-raiser under the lights in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
