SEATTLE – Washington men’s golf heads to the Aloha State for the Amer Ari Invitational, hosted by Hawaii-Hilo, Feb. 5-7.
Tee times at Mauna Lani Resort Golf Club begin at 9:30 a.m. PT on Thursday. Teams will play 18 holes each day on the par 72 course registering 6,913 yards in a shotgun start.
Joining the Huskies in the field are No. 7 Arizona State, No. 5 Auburn, No. 17 Georgia Tech, Hawaii, Hawaii-Hilo, No. 15 North Carolina, No. 11 Oklahoma State, Oregon, Oregon State, Osaka Gakuin, Pacific, No. 4 Pepperdine, San Jose State, Stanford, No. 6 Texas, No. 16 Texas Tech, UC Davis, UCLA and UT Arlington.
Washington will be paired with Oklahoma State, Oregon and UT Arlington for round one starting on holes No. 10A through 12A.
The Huskies opened the spring season with a fourth place (+16) finish in a tough field at the Southwestern Invitational. In his collegiate debut, Emil Herstad placed sixth at 1-over. Jacob Goode had a Top 15 finish with his 2-over tournament, his third Top 20 placement of the season.
