Australia’s Top 20 Golf Courses (2026) | #20–11
Golf Australia Magazine has released its 2026 Top 100 Golf Courses in Australia, and instead of rushing through the list, I’m breaking down the Top 20 in detail across two videos.
This first episode covers courses ranked #20 to #11, featuring some of the best public and private golf in Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia — including iconic Sandbelt courses, rugged King Island links and championship venues.
Part 2 (#10–#1) drops Thursday at 6pm.

Great video, i'll be looking out for part 2 👍
Lonsdale links not overly penal?? Yeah dunno about that
I haven’t played Metropolitan for a while but I consider it Victoria’s third best course. It’s a magnificent layout and I go back to when there was a road to cross which was changed about 1960. I saw Seve play there and a few years later saw Greg play .
The best 2 are pretty well everyone’s best 2…
R. M. West and Kingston Heath.
St Andrews Beach has a handful of stupid holes that ruin the experience.
St Andrews, best public course in Victoria? Me thinks.
