ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. – Morton Bailey tied for 20th at the Sea Best Invitational as Louisiana Tech wrapped up play Tuesday in the shortened event held at the Atlantic Beach Country Club.
 
As a team, LA Tech shot 11 over (295) in round two to finish in 10th place (289-295=584) to open the spring portion of its schedule.
 
Bailey was three over through the first eight holes before turning things around by sinking a birdie on the Par No. 9.  He played the last 10 holes at two under, including birdies on No. 15 and No. 17, to shoot 72 (+1).  In doing so, the sophomore defeated five top 150 players while registering his third top 20 finish of the season.
 
Riley Hnatyshyn repeated his round from Monday, carding another 73 (+2) to tie for 39th at the event.  The senior tallied a team-high four birdies on the day, two of which came on the final four holes.
 
Oskari Schuvalow and Abel Derksen provided the other two scorecards used by the Bulldogs in the second round as each shot 75 (+4). 
 
No. 5-ranked Florida took home the team title shooting ten under.
