SOMIS, Calif. – The second round of the 2026 Bill Cullum Invitational was suspended Monday due to darkness and will be completed before the final round gets underway on Tuesday morning at The Saticoy Club.

Host CSUN finished round one in second place at 9-over 297. Cal State Fullerton finished round one at 7-over 295. Sophomore Bryson Barnes was the low Matador in round one, carding an even-par 72. Junior Domenic De Luca wound up at 1-over 73, with Liam Judkins finishing at 3-over 75, and Ethan Posthumus carding a 5-over 77.

Most of the field completed 36 holes prior to sunset, but a few groups have one final hole to complete. Those players will finish their final hole beginning at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning prior to the rest of the field heading out for a shotgun start immediately after.

“This is a hard golf course, I thought we played a decent first round today,” said head coach Jim Bracken. “We’ll finish up round two in the morning and hopefully have a good final round.”
