Nathan Cook has been shortlisted for the Participation and Development Coach of the Year Award at the 2026 England Golf Awards, recognising his contribution to growing the game at Dibden Golf Centre, across Hampshire, and beyond.

The 2026 England Golf Awards are due to take place in March, and celebrate people making a positive impact on the sport.

Nathan is a senior coach at the club and co-owner of Aces, an indoor golf studio with sites in Dibden and Alton.

He was named one of Golf Monthly’s Top 50 Coaches in 2022.

Nathan mentors 40 young players in the county, coaches the Southampton University team, and supports 66 online students through Skillest, including a professional competing on the Indian Tour.

Nathan supports Henry Atkinson, an 11-year-old player who competed at the World Junior Championships in the US.

Junior membership at Dibden Golf Centre, where Nathan works, has increased from 0 to more than 100 in three years.

Nathan encourages junior golf participation through a colour-coded course progression path.

He has also established a women’s programme at the club that has grown from four to 115 participants.

The 2026 England Golf Awards are scheduled for Tuesday, March 3, at Manchester Deansgate.
