He used to be one of my favorite golfers. Then he sold his soul and showed his true colors – fuck Phil.
To answer your question – My favorite was Adam Scott and I know he was world number1 for a short while but he was never really considered the best golfer in the world for an extended period so i feel like he qualifies for this. Still definitely one of my favorites today and I hope he can get another win

He was my favorite for the way he played. He screwed up a lot…like me…but was accountable. He truly seemed to enjoy playing golf.
Off the course, I lost a great deal of respect for him with all of the gambling, insider trading, and the LIV fiasco. He had some legitimate issues with how the PGA Tour was run, but he didn’t have to be an ass to a Tour that had given him so much.
