Megalodome Golf is aiming to expand the golf season in cold-weather cities.
While golf can only be played in three to six months of the year in a place like Chicago, it can be played year round in an indoor course.
Cold weather areas are just the start for Megalodome Golf.
The company also aims to launch in areas where temperatures regularly exceed 90 degrees.

The planned course in Chicago will feature six par-three holes and three par-four holes.
That comes out to a total par of 30.
Those nine holes are housed in three domes with a height of 110 feet.
A fourth dome is also planned to be a full practice facility with a driving range that extends 275 yards.
