Hogan talked about a “Free Ride Down”
This video shows how the ABS Hogan Modules address this concept
and create a a pathway for students to learn and master the move.

  1. Another great video! Interesting comment on speed of left shoulder. I remember seeing buried in one of Trevino's videos him commenting on how fast Nicklaus's left shoulder was. Not many of today's modern teachers touch on left shoulder dynamics and technique.

  2. Once again excellent work……. I have to say your swing is damm close to the model you seek…… the beautiful loaded down swing to the high hands finish very "Hogan" with the rifle shot sound at impact which is impossible to fake…….. free ride down indeed

  3. Swing looks awesome. Inspired. 2 questions.

    1. I don’t see new content in Hogan modules?
    2. You have recommendations on a mat? Or just anyone will do?

  4. What would be the physical benefit of striking a ball with a "loaded shaft?" You'd be negating the potential energy stored in the shaft. If the shaft is "loaded" at impact it would then load further as it impacts the static mass of the ball. The ball would exit the face while the shaft is loaded 2x or so more than at initial impact. So, instead of adding energy to the ball using the flex of the shaft you'd be removing energy. The golf club doesn't work like smacking something with a bent ruler, it's far more genius than that.

  5. You get what you pay for. How do you put a value on what 40 years of trial and error with little positive outcome to show. Thank you for your work , I am in such a much greater place for knowing Hogan didn't take his swing to the grave. You brought it back to life.
