I was hoping to see Kevin on TV, maybe i missed it.
Was great to see the caliber of players that Kevin finished higher than even in the two rounds
Kudos to Kevin for a good showing at Newport…. I was watching and hoping he would make it to the weekend but he has nothing to feel badly about. When a guy only gets to tee it up 20 plus times in the season prior to a marquee event like the Senior Open and comes within a shot of being there for the weekend, that is an accomplishment in and of itself… Keep chasing it Kevin!!
Way to go and place well, 1 shot over 36 holes is nothing, I hope you attempt to play in it next year!
Well played Kevin! We're with you my friend. BTW, I have looked an inch in front of the ball at address since 1965. My dad (my golf coach then) adjusted my setup and my sighting point as a swing workaround. After 59 years, it is ingrained as a part of my game.
Fantastic play KK!! Golf is the most unpredictable sport one can attempt. Only individuals with addictive type personalities can endure the abuse this game inflicts upon us, find the workarounds and keep going.
Been there…always there😁
