About This Video:
Breaking 90 usually isn’t due to a magic swing change you need to make, it can be done by being strategic in your approach to each round and making decisions on the course that statistically help you break 90 every round. These 7 rules are what statistically help you the most to shave strokes off of your scores and handicap.

I only did it after I took 5 years off and played 1 time with deadbeat friends
I definitely am not thinking enough, great strategies!
Thanks a lot this is great information I Especially love the tip where you check out the six most difficult holes on the course That's huge
#2 Hit the driver. I don't do this because I simply can't hit the driver. Yes, that's going to be the focus of my next lesson with my PGA pro.
#7 Track strokes gained. I don't do this on real courses but my sim (home sim) does calculate this for me.
The rest are tips that I've been doing, or at least trying to do, since I started learning to golf 7 months ago and are the main reason that I have an 18.1 HCP. Of course the fact that I have a home sim and that I practice a lot help as does the fact that I had an excellent lesson (only 1 due but more to come) from my PGA pro.
If you want to break 90, dont use driver on any hole that has ob or water hazards on either side. If you do, you will lose balls amd you wont break 90.
Good stuff. I approach rounds with a goal of hitting 2 good shots a hole. Given higher handicaps. This is excluding putting . That way you focus more on the fun and reality most folks never break 100. Stats prove that. There is no short cut to playing in low or mid 80 without practicing short game. Most of us never get the chance . Unless you belong to a club with practice facility. Have fun. Great social exercise.😊
