This is another drill that is better suited for a practice net but never the less it has some really good benefits
.
You don’t necessarily need to use coins for this but they do work pretty well for the intended purpose
.
Basically you just need to place two objects in line with the golf ball and then another two just in front of them
.
Try hitting the front two without touching the two in line with the ball and this would replicate a good strike on the ball by making sure you hit it before the ground
.
Doing them in a row like this gives you the feeling of the strike that you need. You can see on my first attempt that I caught it slightly off the bottom so the coin came out flat
.
The second then was a better strike and so I made that same swing at the golf ball and it was a really clean strike
.
It would probably be better to set up to the back coin and hit the front one but also have the coins closer together however you can play around with how far away they are for how difficult that you want to make it for yourself
.
The reason it’s better for a net sessions is because obviously you don’t want to be losing too many coins down the range 🤣
.
Give it a try if you haven’t before!

Pretty sure that’s not good for the club
Sigh, another golfing expense…what about buttons, can I use buttons?
Can I use Liberty Dollars instead?
Excellent.
Another coin in front of the ball in the same position as the prior two coins would have made the story complete.
lol the money drill for angle of attack on chipping okay what do we do with dollar bills! Geeze!
