I play jumbo XLs, I can still swing regular grips, they just feel weird
What size gloves do you guys wear? What hand size?
Do a video with people with arthritis…I want to know if I should go big or thinner. Straight or tampered. Overlap, interlocked….also wondering if strong or weak helps one way or the other. I HAVE arthritis in my left hand mostly the heal..trigger finger is what its called. Plus standard arthritis. Many players would like to see this topic handled.
It's usually the lead arm have the lead elbow point down like the trail elbow make your adjustments after that it will stop the pull draw
Everything off the matt is good. Now go hit off the grass and its a different story. I can hit my irons pure and online off the matt then on the course its all over the place😢
So what size was this in the zen light ?
Skinny jeans were never cool
$280 no problem 🤙
I'm 5'8 with regular sized hands and still use jumbo grips they feel better imo and fit more snug in my hands
Love it…"she came home"…love your stuff…185 yard plus 8 iron…is your shop on top of Pikes Peak…My 82 mph 8 iron is 155 max probably shorter….u da man (but im 73) lol…wish I was closer would love to come to your shop…( if I could climb that high)
Need to do it multply days with the same results. Then it maybe the larger grips corrects a faulty grip. Change your grip may have the same results.
Only been playing for a few years. When I got my set i noticed no matter how hard I gripped the club would literally turn in my hands. When I went to purchase my woods it was happening during fitting. So I asked the guy about grip size and told him why. At first he was like no. So I said put your hand up to mine and he was like oh let's see if we can find a used club with larger grips. They had one and instantly I knew it was what I needed. And had all my clubs installed with cp2 jumbos that day.
Dude i switched to a jmx med and same thing i hit straight as an arrow now. Everyone thats grabbed one of my clubs to try them and im talking most being scratch guys, fall in love immediatley
instead of going to Jumbo, just go Large. I did that with my Irons, and it made a HUGE difference in my swing, and connection with the ball. I started playing golf again this year about July, changed my grips in August from a standard to a large, and in 2 months changed my score from a 92 average, to a 86.. on nothing more than my grips. I honestly think this is the best improvement I have ever made in my golf game to date. Also it is good to note that I am 6'4" and I have big hands, and I always felt like a larger golf club grip would do better for me. So if you have smaller hands, this might not be the best idea for you.
Riz = Charisma
I use and love mid sized grips. This video is food for thought!
The way I understand this is If you are slicing with standard grips, going to mid side will make the slice worse; Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
i am transitioning clubs . To me the max grips feel more natural
Larger grips can make it hard to turn over for dynamic power unless you have larger hands & power in your hands & wrists. Too large a grip & you end up shoving the ball & losing distance.
Went from golf pride regular to jumbo and instantly saw a difference. I feel like I have more face control.
My man has the most INSANE backswing I’ve ever seen
So if someone slices these jumbos will make it worse?
I have changed my grips to jumbo from my sand wedge to my 4 iron. Love them and now my 3 iron, wedges and 3 wood and driver needs to be changed. Game changer.
I switched to Jumbo non-taper, but not the ultra-lites. They feel heavy, but I've never made more consistent contact. Works even better with the driver and woods.
He's the WANGHAF
"Feels like a tennis racquet" Exactly. Tennis, baseball, hockey, even bikes / motorcycles, in what other case where human hands need to grip something, is the grip as small as it is on a standard golf club?
I went to top golf after switching to the jumbo mediums, it's not as bad as you would think, actually kind of works like a training tool when going back to standards it's actually helps you maintain the same wrist motion. I recommend everyone grip a 7 iron to use as a trainer even if you don't want to swap the whole bag.
I did it. best investment of my golf life.
Do the jumbo grips help a slicer???
It's worth it every time, if you grip the club with your lead hand and your palm can overlap your finger tips they're too small. I'm sure you guys don't wear the same size golf glove, so why would you use the same size grips?
Needed a calculator to work out 20 x 13… 😂😂😂😂😂😂
by a third from standard to midsize lol
As a taller guy, upright lie and jumbo have been a cheat code for my dispersion.
Switched 2 years ago. XS ultralite on irons. Tour Standard Jumbo on woods and wedges. Still like the one miss. Game changer. Grips chosen were based on weight to have final SW goal.Do it. You wont regret it.
Umm… Finger length?
Playing with Jumbo Max ultralight L and loving it, no strain on hands and arms
I tried one on my driver and lost my draw…could only hit fades
It hasn’t been mentioned what your hand and finger size is with regards to current grip. If you are using a Standard grip and your hands/fingers are pressing into your glove hand heal pad then you should switch to a Midsize grip and then see what happens. If your swing is naturally a pull then see how a Midsize grip may help in that swing path. Then move to the Jumbo/Oversized using the same manufacturer before going to a the many different versions of the Jumbo grips Daly uses.
When I put them on my driver, I added a 20 g weight to the at the end of the grip added 10 yards of carry 🎉
I tried Smoking,Drinking beer & going to Hooters like John Daly. After I coughed alot more & a full belly then couldn't find my car. A bigger grip is much more reasonable. ⛳️🤪🥴
Use a baseball bat grip😅 work on your waist, you will drop 4 strokes 😅😅
Every video like this, it straightened out their shot. But I feel like I’ve never see anyone make the switch on their next video.
I just got into golf a few years ago, and was using standard lamkin grips on my driver and irons. I tend to have a wicked snap hook with my driver sometimes. I’ve since upgraded to a MCC +4 midsize and it’s much straighter. The numbers in this test don’t lie, I think it’s true. Bigger grips help with not having a closed face at impact. Grip also plays a factor obviously but yes I agree 100%
Learn to install your own grips and save $$$$
If my irons are fading, will jumble grips make it worse
Extra wraps of tape under a midsize and it’ll help you
Jumbo!!!!
This video alone made me buy the Jumbo's with no regrets 😁😁
John knows drinking, John knows golfing, John knows gripping.
